Black Douglas ILF Shoe & 17" Riser Plan

The Reason for this post is for feedback. The Geometry is set. Its what we feel makes a good bow. BUT there are many features on a riser that some folks want and not others. we are not going to entertain SKY dish attachments and CB Radios, but its just in design stage, and your Feedback is more than welcome. Finite element anlysis will be applied to the initial design, bet here you go... First of all:

ILF SHOE

PDF is 3D so you need the latest Acrobat reader

This is our shoe idea. It will fit to a Black Douglas Riser. This will allow you guys to fit ILF limbs to a nice fancy wood riser if you please.
We Plan on making it weight releaved as standard, and singles that dont. This will allow the user to add some weight to the top or bottom of your riser in which ever way you please.

Our next project we are working on.

17" Riser

Again 3D PDF. Latest reader needed.

This is a 17" riser, we plan on 17",19",21",23" and 25"
This will match our Black Douglas Range.
The idea of the shoe, will allow the Archer to select bolted, fixed limbs. This should limit the number of vairables, and fix down any potential areas of loosening bolts and allow for a more optimised bow geometry etc. Or Attach the shoe and go ILF. The weighted shoe will allow for some mass balance tuning. The Bolted fixed limb idea will use our Black Douglas Limbs. and ILF is ILF.

What do you think?

Feed back greatfully recived. :-)
