| My favourite of all time is the Range-o-matic spinwing applied dead straight and 'catch' just enough of the front and back under the tape to induce a slight forward face presentation towards the oncoming air...if you know what I mean.
They spin Quick, and straighten out quicker than anything else I've tried, they group well at range, don't require 'absolute/infinite' precision to fly consistently from one arrow to another, clear well due to low profile, weigh next to nothing, and score points over some other spinnies in a cross wind. Inside and out they perform ok, but
inside they damage easily like all spinnies...mostly you can save them with a finger nail scraping them back to position.
The biggest factor here is really 31.5 inches of 2114 shaft - next to a composite shaft these buggers are like telegraph poles and may( dependant) on technique require something like an EP23 plastic vane at least to stand up to 'bruising' and give enough correction to your arrow, and soon enough to be viable.
Your technique is going to be a large factor in what to guess at being good for you.
What chance you have enough arrows- or can obtain 4 more- to have 4 inch feathers for indoors....and 'proper' vanes for outdoors? that would be best as a 2114 isn't the ideal 90m shaft to be using - and certainly not with 4 inch feathers on it! |
