First thing to know is, does the owner say it's ok to adjust the current settings.
Next thing to know is are you replacing damaged ones or fletching arrows from new
Thirdly is the owner from the same discipline recurve /compound.
fourthly are your nocks glued on or push fitted.
If you know the answers to all of those it would be safe to take some advice on how to use it otherwise..........................
