I currently shoot with a self yew longbow 35lb @ 30", with 31" ash arrows, with a 5/16 spine and 77g modbod points.

I know that straw bosses are widely used, but I'm aware that medieval bodkin points can really wear a start boss down quite easily, hence the reason why I'm thinking that a layered foam boss is better.

What do you guys think?

Thank you in advance

Foam bosses can always be re packed so they last longer, once straw bosses are knackered thats it...
