Im sure you have all been where I am today ....... half way through the beginners course, getting on well and starting to make a shortlist of the kit to buy in the next few weeks........ & being told by the coach to hold on.
I would like to hear from Recurve archers that have been in this position over the, say last three years ......... the equipment may be similar to that which is available today.
What riser and limbs did you start with? Did you make the right choice after settling in with it? How long before you needed, or wanted to change or update?
I don't mind spending a reasonable amount, but would like more help in selecting from my initial thoughts (top and possibly 'over the top' Hoyte Nexus) or Sebastian Flute. Limbs Hoyte Stratix - Sebastian Flute, Winstorm, T-Rex.
Sight Shabuya Dual Click, Sebastian Flute, ARC SX10. Pressure Button Shabuya DX gold tip. Arrows Platinum XX75 and or Jazz.
Importantly, wheredid you go to get 'Fitted' and did they set it up/ tune it all for you ........ I'm thinking about Custom Built Archery or ???
Any help would be appreciated from newer archers, as well as coaches and what they feel would be good.
