Don't save on the sight, buy a decent one to start off with that can move up with you, as you progress, there is nothing worse than a sight that comes loose or shakes it's self to bits after each end of arrows.

Hi Jamie,
thank you for your advice. I had already downloaded the Recurve document and read it through, so it is always to hand now. I have also read three archery boods, all of which have been enlightening.
The advice on a good sight is what others have advised and I believe it is sound advice, so will make sure a good one is investe in to start with
