Money and spare time seem to be two constants in archery, if you don't have both then it's really going to be a struggle, regardless of abilty imo.
In my case (probably like most working archers with a family) to get more money I have to work smarter/longer and lose 'family time', and when I practice I can't make as much money and lose 'family time'
edit: but I'll admit that when I'm shooting, after a couple of ends I don't give anything else a second thought
