its only one bit of dental floss; it will be the same on every shot. if you do it right, same as a Beiter nocking point. Its just not as pretty..
Personally, to make the nocking point, I serve about 3/8 of an inch of Majesty serving material, over the centre serving, each way from the nock. This is alot easier than Beiters, and just as snug & consistent (again,
if you do it right).
I don't use Beiter nocks, so whats the point in Beiter nocking point?
I use 18 strands of Majesty, with Angel ASB serving (smoothest ever!), and Majesty serving for the nocking point, using ACE pin nocks. For end loop serving I use BCY #3D with BIG loops to make it nice & quiet.
452X is also really nice, with 20 strands to get the same thickness as 18 strands of Majesty.
TBH Beardy, all the good string materials are about the same (except Angel ASB Dyneema; crappest ever!), and none of us will be able to tell the difference. You might choose, say, BCY 8125 because it comes in the prettiest colours. nowt wrong with that.
