I can't help wondering this also, because to me, it shouldn't matter if a longbow is either self or horn nocked, it should be the archer's choice as to what his/her preference is, when it comes to using a longbow that is suitable to that person.
Is there much (If any) difference in the shooting quality/performance between a self and horn nocked bow?
