If you are going to try it yourself- First make a note of your proper nock height!

then very carefully take a craft knife to either end of the serving, being careful not to cut into the strands of the string material..unwind it onto a spool of some desciption....and you'll get away with using the same piece of serving material again.
but do take a look at how to start and finish the serving before you go any further.
