It's out there somewhere!

OK, last season, with the very light arrows that were too near a dry loose for the bow's good, I could see the boss at 100 yards. This year that is not going to be possible. So, never mind what distance this relates to for you, how do you cope with lining up the shot when you can't see the boss? And what sort of strike rate are you getting? I am averaging about 1/6 scoring at 100 yards at the moment and need to improve this. At 80 I can only just see the boss, but am getting about 3/6 on. If I can find a consistent reference (not dependent on a handy tree on the skyline) I reckon I can better this, as I usually manage 10/12 on at 60. Handy hints much appreciated!
