I believe he does but the two techniques you've mentioned there are for different things. The stable shooting, where the archer is shooting is for accuracy and that can be used at marks out to say 230/240 yds depending on your bow etc. The first shot on the video where you see Mark shooting perfectly illustrates this. The second style where the 'archer lifts his leg' is for outright distance shooting where only line and not grouping is important. In fact the archer doesn't lift his leg, he pushes himself foward in effect throwing the arrow of the bow. Doing this adds considerable distance to the shot, but only if you can keep a good line so the archer still has to be stable. The last clip of a solo archer illustrates this distance shooting technique.
