i am a big believer in ...."if you shot constantly i.e. don't work. you will be extremely good... obviously it helps if you know what your doing. but i don't think you even need a coach. in that sense.......i know 3 people over the years that just shot and they all made GB.


maybe their form wasn't 100% correct. but it worked.

i know there's good coaches out there. but i do think that too much emphasis is put on " i'm know the coach you do it this way."

how many level 1's are calling themselfes coaches,
they are infact teachers or tutors. for beginners.

just to add a bit after reading archery mums. post..

john dudley £500 a day.
now if he's turnin archers out like wendy in 3 months. to me as an archer thats money well spent.

blimy i'm lucky half the time to get my petrol money...
and thats why the coaching thingy isn't working.

for £20 per hr + travel i wouldn't move and i'd write a written report for your reference
