You only need it if your draw length is not consistant, and it takes a while to sort that out.
Mike I'm afraid I agree with Worthipa. I have been shooting for less than a year, and started using a clicker almost immediately. I'm shooting FITA's at around 1150 at the moment, aiming at 1200 for next big tournament. Could not have got there that fast without a clicker! At the longer distances any variable is amplified. There just is no argument here.
