Backing away from team funding...
I don't have a problem with the amount
GNAS charges, but as a
GNAS field archer I would like to see a little more time spent on field by
GNAS. I appreciate that field archers are in the minority in
GNAS, but if they don't get their act together you'll get more people going across to
NFAS or EFAA.
An example of the problem as I see it is the recent FITA rule changes. It was known in October that the FITA field rules were changing. In January the rules were confirmed. In April
GNAS printed an update to the rule book with the old rules printed, not the new ones, despite re-printing the pages that should have been changed. Also the classifications have been changed, which is good, but again the new classifications aren't in the amendments, nor are they available on the
GNAS website. They are on the
GNAS Field site, but why are they not in the official rule book? Field archers pay our money too!
