Due to the time constraints that having young children place upon any leisure time, we have only limited time to look for new equipment. What we are planning to do is to draw up a shortlist of bows, find a shop that stocks (if not all) then some of them, and then let Julie shoot each bow against the others.
What we are looking for from you lords and ladies is advice. What bows would you recommend from personal experiance , what bows would you stay clear of, what have you had thought about getting but didn't , and why.
Hope you can help.
Cheers

Personally I would recommend Bowtech, The Allegiance should fit the bill nicely. I know the trend is to go for the Guardian or the new Airborne, but in my opinion, the Allegiance is faster than the Guardian and more forgiving than the Airborne 101st
The Allegiance has been enhanced by eliminating virtually all cam lean by moving more mass to the centre of the cam. Design improvements in the riser have yielded weight savings that combined with improved cam performance have produced a bow that is one of the finest.
The Allegiance combination of Vertical Force Technology and improved Binary Cam System delivers performance through increased efficiency – transferring a higher level of stored energy to the arrow.
The Allegiance gives you a choice of two different modules allowing you to select the shooting characteristics, terminal velocity or smooth-as-silk, either in half-inch draw length increments.
Brace Height: 7 1/4"
Peak Draw Weight: 50–60–70
Draw Length: 26 1/2" to 30 1/2"
Axle to Axle: 33 1/4"
IBO Speed
(smooth mod): 317– 325 fps
(speed mod): 327– 335 fps
a shop offer excellent service and great prices.
Alegiance - a shop
I personally would go for the Testarossa,Matte Black, with red cams
Best Regards and Happy shopping
