Ive now just finished my beginners course and Ive been told not to buy any equipment apart from finger tab, quiver and arm guard. Because Im left handed but right eye dominant Im having to shoot right handed which means that Im currently shooting a really light bow as I just dont have the strength. So it would be completely daft of me to buy anything for a good while yet. We are lucky in that the club does have a very large range of bows to borrow.

The other thing is that I had a go at a compound bow last Sunday....and I think I prefer compound

I dont have the money to buy several bows if I 'outgrow' them, so Ive got to wait. But I do get frustrated that the sights are always different, and that next week someone else may need the bow that Ive been using.
