| on the subject of novelty small recurves, there is an absolutely beautiful trophy at Pentref for traditional field archery in a glass case. It was made by bowyer Gary Evans i understand and donated to the club.
Its a wooden hunter recurve bow about 10" tall, on a plaque with quiver and small arrows. The detail is superb, all the coloured laminations, even a metal threaded hole for a button on the window. Never seen anything like it.
i'll get a photo of it when i'm up there tomorrow night and post it
