I shoot 29,5" 100gr Redlines now, and the bare shafts go to the right. Yeah, they should be OK, but long for me. I don't want to cut them any shorter, because my father will shoot them as I get the Triples.
I have read, that Triples are measured in a different way.
Which spine should I get? (I'd like the 110gr points in them) |
From Cartels own info
at 28" you should go for 700 spine but you are right on the line between them and 800 spine
If you opt for a 27.5" arrow then the 800 spine
BUT there is nothing like trying them first if no local retailer close to you sells them if postage is not too steep buy 3 of each play around and see which work best for your setup and shooting style, at least that way you only loose£40-£50 not £100 plus if you choose the wrong ones.
You could then probably sell the other 3 to someone else who wants to try them
Good luck there are a few of us here who use triples and they are a great arrow for the money and hopefully some of the others will help you as well.
Shame you are in Hungary as you could have tried my old 800 spine, I now use 600 due to increase in poundage.
The 800's worked great for me upto nearly 40lb at 28" but lost stability very quickly above that poundage but then my shooting style will probably be different than yours and that as I said can affect the spine as well.
