It's really going to depend on the condition of the equipment... The Yammy should be able to take it (hell they could cope with *kevlar* and carbon arrows....).

But I have seen breakages of old equipment - one example was a 25 year old Yammy YTSL 2. Now I don't think the fact that the owner was shooting ACEs and Fastflight was a factor, as he had been using them for several years. More important was the ding and subsequent crack through the handle at the grip. Spectacular, but luckily no injuries (other than in the wallet department...).

Regarding the Samick kit; I have a set of Extremes. If you would describe your Yammy limbs as "crisp" or "snappy", then you may well like Extremes. There seems to be a division of opinion about how good limbs feel (which doesn't incidentally seem to have any bearing on performance...).
