In the nearly 40 years now I've been an archer, it's the best coverage I've seen on archery on terrestrial telly. Don't have satellite or cable, so can't comment on that. But my neighbours, non archers, even found the rounds with our boys & girls on, interesting due to the format of the round, and the coverage. OK the terms like "thats a liner!" were a bit American, but the public grasped it well.

So come on GNAS, get some sponsor to put up the cash, do a short snappy round like the H2H teams, and get some coverage. It can be done.

Fishing matches in the UK style format are long and boring. Enter Terry Hearn and his "match room" snooker/boxing company produced a continental style, 2 hour, well edited, TV friendly competition. Put up a £25,000 winner takes all prize to get the best to enter. Then with a big sports promoter like Match room, TV coverage gets pushed in by force of money, the god of TV company shareholders.
