Yep we practice in the wet.
We get our groundsman to turn the sprinkler on so we can practice in any thing from a light drizzle to a bucketing downpour.
This allows us to be proficient in keeping our cake dry to efficiently being able to dry our equipment out afterwards.
Of course the hose pipe ban has now put paid to that so we will now have to take it in turns to throw buckets of water over each other as that apparently is allowed
