| RE: looking for a new recurve sight
The Arc sx10 is a good sight for £75, but I do not like it's recticule. I did like the illuminated centre, but tended to concentrate on that rather than the target. I have replaced it with a Gehmann 505 (AMPO Iris) diaphram sight from Surrey Guns. I can only shoot between 20 and 80 yards without adjusting the arm to the second hole to shoot 90m and 100yards, this I find annoying, with the recticule almost touching the vanes as they go by.
I am looking at the Shureloc Quest X to replace it, as it has a 5 1/2" frame, an extra 20mm of reach and adjustment.
A friend has just bought a CopperJohn, another club member has one and really rates it. |
