Hey there

Nice to find a forum with so much recurve info (most US archery discussions and clubs, at least near my home, focus on bow hunting - nothing wrong with that - it's just not my thing).

Somewhat new to archery- got involved with Scouting as a basic camp instructor a year ago, then my two boys decided to "go in other directions," so now my 8-yr old and I just shoot for fun in the back yard - we're fortunate to live in a somewhat rural area with plenty of room - my back yard "range" can accomodate anywhere from 20-50 yards. Maybe someday I'll give Saturday morning lessons.

I shoot a W&W Evolution II with Challenger Craft limbs, Cartel sight and Cartel front-rod stabilizer. My 8-yr old shoots a Ragim Ranger recurve (beginner-level take-down recurve) with a starter sight.
