Less than three weeks to go, so time to start the trash-talking!
From the "first outdoor shoot of the year" thread, it's clear that most Yorkshire-based members will be blowing away the cobwebs at the Bronte Spring Weekend.
I'm looking forward to it, while wondering how I'm going to manage 12 dozen arrows on Sunday and 10 dozen on Monday, after shooting only five dozen a week all winter (if that). All the same, bring it on!
I don't think we had any Brontes on this board during the 2005 outdoor season (apart from some lurkers from a certain retail outlet), so they may not be familiar with the dos and don'ts of tournaments with an
AIUK contingent:
- DO have cake galore -- though I hardly touch the stuff myself of course, must watch my figure
- DO have a raffle
- DON'T use purple raffle tickets -- unlucky for some of us
- DO polish up a medal for Tracey McGowan

- DON'T engrave my name on the trophy just yet
