For example if I decided my kit was my limiting factor yet my coach managed to shoot 10 times better than me with the same setup then why upgrade?

I may be getting a little obtuse but rather than make it more of a gadget thing I was wondering if there is some kind of trigger point that most coaches recommend.

That make sense?

for me , i moved up from my beginners kit when i started to compete

and i needed better limbs to get the distances ( higher poundage )
