| I think in lb's, inches and farenheit then have to mentally convert something in conform.
I can never remember the temperature conversion formula and people keep talking in celsius. Funny thing is, I do cold temps in celsius and hot ones in farenheit which gets VERY confusing. If someone says it's -10 outside, I know that's cold. If someone says it's 24, I'm "what's that in farenheit?"
What REALLY bugs me is lazy reciepe conversion. A an ounce is just over 28 grammes (I accept fractional grammes might be a bit much for reciepes) but most if not all reciepes that list both weights use a 1oz to 25g conversion.
That's fine to a degree, but I've seen reciepes where it gets rounded to the nearest neareast 25g so 4 oz becomes 100 g and 5 oz is 150g. That really bugs me |
