| RE: Membership Fees No need for apologies, I'm not a stuffy oldie and I'm a newbie to archery, only three and half years. I like to think since I have taken over as secretary of our club I have helped get over that older members thing by encouraging more competitiveness, etc. if thats the right word. We certainly have a more enthusiastic approach to our archery these days, altho we are still stuck in some of the traditions like, greens and whites but even tho I wear the colours I try to steer away from the zipped pockets and polo shirts, set a few trends, etc. Our "older" members have been a little alarmed and worried about the growth of the club but I know they realise that two years ago we were lucky to have half a dozen members shooting on a sunday morning and now we have on average 30 to 35 which I think is absolutely brilliant, it give me a buzz. Our main problem at the moment is too many new archers and not enough experienced, a subject which someone else has touched on in another thread, that is a bit of a problem but we're working on it.
