Well, after giving Tony_zelah a hard time about shooting his bow with no arrow nocked, I hereby admit to my own lapse in concentration.
Having had troubles on Tuesday with my tab, I was lent another type by a fellow club member to see how I got on with it.
There I was, all eager to try this new tab (small things, small minds etc), stood at the shooting line, completely in 'the zone'
, arrow nocked, bow raised, draw, release....... chase the bow up the field
In my haste, I'd left my finger sling attached to my OLD tab and it had completely slipped my mind.
The bow only flew about 5 or 6 yards but it took ages to remove the mud and grass from the sight, arrow rest, limbs...... what a numpty!
