GNAS handicap tables are not officially published anywhere electronically as they are copyright (but not by GNAS ). There used to be an apology about not being able to make the tables available on the site somewhere.

Intitial handicap is based on the rounded up average of the first three scores. After that if you shoot to a lower handicap your new handicap is the rounded up average of the new lower handicap and your current handicap. Your year start handicap is the rounded up average of the three lowest handicaps shot in the previous year.

In your case what you did on Saturday (the day before the club handicap shoot was shoot a round with a handicap 17 points below your current handicap; 10 out of 10 for shooting but 0 out of 10 for timing ). This lowered your handicap by 8 points. Your 474 is going to lower your handicp yet again (when I get around to it).
