AIUK County Classic Shoots

Been having a think about the future of the AIUK Classic shoots, here's my thoughts so far. Feel free to discuss and add anything. If anyone would like to organise a shoot in their area please let me know (Northern Counties and Southern Counties are currently unavailable).
  1. We'll hopefully have a shoot in each region - not just the south and north.
  2. Each shoot to happen twice a year - one indoor shoot in the winter, one outdoor shoot in the summer.
  3. The round shot at each shoot should be the same round. If need be, lesser distance rounds will be shot if required.
  4. If Tarkwin and Cakemeister agree and wish to organise future events, they should be promoted within the forum to Shoot Organisers - as will anyone else who takes on the job of organising Classic Shoots.
  5. Payment would be in advance of the shoot.
  6. Payment should cover: the cost of the shooting ground, prizes, shoot organisers expenses. Remains to the AIUK slush fund/Charity?.
  7. Prizes: do we organise proper trophies/medals?
  8. Classic Shoots will be advertised in one of the boxes on the home page for 2 months in advance of the shoot. And possibly in AUK.
  9. All cake should be photographed before being consumed....
Tarkwin has also mentioned to me that a few attendees would like an enamel badge to mark the AIUK Classic shoots. If anyone's interested I'll design a nice black and gold 'AIUK Classic 2006' badge that should cover NoCo and SoCo. They'll probably be around 4.00 (inc. P&P) based on the multi-colour badge we had done last time).

Cheers

Dave
