Personally, I go to a tournament to shoot, not to pick a fight with Judges, or for aggrovation, or to make a political statement to the ruling elite. Think also about the Judges - they give their time freely to observe and apply the rules of shooting as democratically agreed through the national body. (OK we can all argue about just how democratic the
GNAS is, but that is not the point). They don't come along to deal with general insurrection from a mass of competitors.
If we don't like the current rules and there is enough support from the majority of archers for a change (and it would seem that a lot of archers are OK with the current state of affairs), then change will come through discussion and agreement, not through open rebellion.
