| Sorry Jerry, I think there is still a difference. You may be able to shoot well with a recurve, but there are structural differences and also preformance differences between the 2 setups that will always give one an edge ovr the other.
The key point is in the valley. A compounder can use their clicker poorly and still score well because the draw weight and nock travel will be resistant to draw length variations. A recurve archer must use their clicker well to score well, even a mm will cause them to miss the 10.
Compound finger shooters should not compare themselves to recurve archers, rather to compound release shooters. They will rarely win, but they are the closest in equipment.
