I was taken to task over this on Sunday, and made to do it. The results have been dramatic. I'm now shooting gold size groups up to 60 yards, with only the occasional flyer.
(I say gold-sized because some bright spark put targets with soft centres on the 50 and 60 yard lines. I had to set my sight so the arrows were hitting in the blue/black at 12 o'clock).
Most of my practice time at home is now devoted to clicker drill, pretty much along the same lines that Murray uses. I'm also getting into the habit of doing a quick bit of clicker drill at any time I feel wobbly or uncertain on the line. |
