That will depend on when you joined the NFAS. The Provisional Membership is only from 01/04. Members prior to that date are full members.

I renewed my NFAS membership as a full member of the AIFA club recently. Last I heard I was the Treasurer, no way could I be trusted to be the President. If you think Richard Nixon was bad well you have no idea the havoc I could create, thank you very much Besides I am trying to get rid of one or two of my archery "jobs" at the moment so I can concentrate more on a couple of the other ones I have

Congrats, Raed! Welcome to your new post as AIFA Club President.

Not sure if DTalbot is still around, but he is serving secretary unless he steps down in favour of, say, Old Bloke.

I am not sure if there isn't a bit of a catch 22 here (no fault of AIFA). If someone is not currently a member of NFAS but wants to join. If he joins via AIFA he/she will get provisional membership. But my understanding is this won't allow the person to shoot in any competitions. To get full membership the individual will need to be signed off as competent by a club committee member, but because this is a virtual club, how can this happen?

Does this mean the to be an effective AIFA NFAS member you need to already have been a NFAS member prior to 1-4-2008?

Anyone?

I guess, that would make joining as an independant rather difficult too?
