European 3D festival in France

I'm about to put in an entry for myself and my son (left it a bit late and there are only a few places left). Is anyone else from the west country going that I could compare notes with ??.

I spoke to David (the organiser ) yesterday and there ARE still places left, so don't hesitate - get your 3d holiday booked now !

I think there are some from the southwest already entered, but if you want any information then just ask away - theres several who came last year as well that would be only too glad to give you help, too

Look forward to meeting you !

Thanks for the reply. I sent an email to David about 1/2 an hour ago and he sent me an entry form by return. Anyone else want to chime in ??.

Kate and I will be heading across the Channel for R&R and of course one of the best shoots we have ever seen, we are not from Southwest, but may have shot alongside you at the Southwest Challenge, or perhaps at Fort shoot or Bude.

it really is a friendly and great shoot, but don't be fooled the level of competition is very high (ahem Karen didn't you kick some butt last year!!!) I of course was only along for the ride as scores go, but had a blast and the second day for the people whom didn't make the cut was such a great course. where else will you get to see full size Mackenzie 3d Giraffes, Rhinos etc - such quality, oh and also the chance on retrieving arrows of saying, Merci, Gracias and thankyou on hand over!!

enjoy it and see you there (oh and David, is so helpfull for the entries)

cheers

Joe

Will try and kick butt this year too, but its always harder the second time around !

Link for the great campsite if you're looking for one is Welcome in the heart of the Valley of the Kings

This is at Veigne about two kilometres away from the shoot (no camping on site unfortunately) - it has pre erected fully equipped all singing all dancing (look like the medievaltype) tents or spaces for caravans, tents and motorhomes, a good cafe type restaurant on site as well as a swimming pool and is next to a river if you're into fishing etc. A good all round family site. A short walk to shops etc.

A lot of the archers stayed there last year and a good time was had by all !

If you want information on the rules of the shoots I can post them for you so that you know whats happening if you haven't done a French shoot before.

So now its next weekend - who's coming and who fancies a last minute holiday with great 3d archery thrown in. Think there are still a few places if you contact the organisers quickly.

We're going up Thursday to the campsite by the river at Veigne, so that the men can get some fishing in before the competition -

See you there

Karen

I'm staying with a friend near Le Mans Thursday night and travelling to the same camp site as you on Friday. See you there.

Andrew
