| If you get stopped at Avalon, good chance its not allowed. Or drop Andrew K (replied on NFAS styles thread) a PM. However I can't see it being an issue, as they are allowed in HT catagory and the rules are almost the same. |

People may have gotten away with it at some shoots, but that isn't the point. If a compaint is made I can see which way the decision is likely to go. At the end of the day it's like running a red light.....if you want to take the risk that you won't get caught, go right ahead. You might get lucky and get to show off your brand new quiver. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Well, all I can say is thanks everyone for all the feedback. I have only been shooting arrows for a couple of years now so I'm not about to get on my soapbox just yet. Like many others, I'm sure, I've had endless fun trying to make sense of all the rules and regs that are out there and it looks like I'll be having fun for a little while longer! Stick & string...what could be simpler ![]() | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| For me, I chose the bow quiver because I hate side or back quivers, lots of stuff dangling from a belt etc or difficulty trying to access the back quiver. I don't as yet enter any major contests I've only done 2/3 club "do's" as yet and I don't think I'll be pulled up there. The quiver I've ordered is one that fits to the limb bolts so nothing in sight view and as for acting as stablisers, well they are allowed in b/b and thats the catagory I shoot. We'll just have to wait and see. |
