We have a similar photo from the same location at our club.

But this one really does it all for me (sorry that I can only post a link)

I've not seen that one, brilliant photo. If it was unmarked distance, I think it would scare the living daylights out of any archer.

It does appear to be a marked field, but, either way, it is one hell of a shot.

This is the signature shot for our club field course. We call it "Gilligans Revenge".


Field Archer, maybe you could edit my post to include the picture? Done!!

This photo was also published in the Nth American Archery magazine in relation to an article on field archery.

Not bad for a little club outside of Sydney.

Another great shot.

There was a similar shot (sorry, no photo taken) on an unmarked animal round in Devon a couple of weeks ago. It's quite difficult judging/guessing distances over water. I guessed just over 60 metres, I made a beautifully executed shot, right over the top of the boss. Turned out it was more like 50 metres.
