Pictures from last event and details of the next one

The Ely Archers first open 3D event went really well, we had over 70 archers turn out and they all enjoyed themselves!

Take a look here for some photos:

http://www.elyarchers.org.uk/photos/mepal_march.htm

There will be more photos soon!

Our next event is the 28th May. It's intended to be a fun shoot but we have plenty to keep the most experienced field archer occupied, with long shots and tricky foot positions. We even have the odd moving target!

Membership of any archery association is fine, we're not fussy who you're affiliated to, be it GNAS, NFAS or EFAS.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Nice crisp pics well done.....but....how come your chum in the red is using a sling??????? If at an NFAS shoot this was spotted then he would be moved from AFB class to Freestyle. Just a point worth noting!

I must confess it's me! Hey, I set out the course and paced all the shots so I should have been disqualified right from the start! Will know not to use a sling next time.

Oh and by the way, credit for the photos goes to our newest member at the club Andrew Jackson. He normally takes pictures of Touring Cars.

At least when my club conducted the NSW State Field (FITA) we had a boat to collect aquatic arrows.

Nice pics.

Looking forward to the European outdoor season as there are always great photos from fieldarcher.nl showing terrain unfamiliar to us down here. I particularly like the photos where ancient buildings are used as part of the target lay-ups.
