New here looking for 3D

Hi all, I am new here in the UK and was hoping to get back into 3D.
I did a lot of that in the USA but have not found places here to do that, and it seems that you have to belong to a club to do???
Are there any open shoots here in the south, where you can go and pay your money and shoot??
Thanks, any help would be appretiated.

Havoc in east anglia there are a couple of shoots that as far as I'm aware need no membership of a club. Perris is one. They shoot in Essex near Braintree. The other is a shoot that I organise at Mepal in the Fens north of Cambridge.

Have a look at our website and check out the photo pages to see if this is what you are into.

Join a Club

You needs to join a club in this country to get insurance cover in case of an accident. I doubt you will find some where that you can just turn up,pay and shoot. You can log on to www.gnas.org and find out if there is a club near you.

HI Havoc
Welcome to our webored,
For 3d's look at www.nfas.net
This is homepage for the National Field Archery Society.
You can join as an individual for £10 a year.
There are shoots on every weekend and you do not have to be a member of a club.
Some shoots are paper faces some 3d's and some a mixture of both.
If you let me know which bit of the country your in I could let you know of reachable clubs.

Havoc, as Provins has said, all you need to do is join the NFAS.
You can shoot as an independent, you don't have to join a club, but it can help.
Where are you located?

Havoc, looks like you are very close to Magna Carta at Epsom.

Edit - I think that Magana Carta are one of only a very few clubs in the UK that are for instinctive archers only, they don't allow sights.

Hey FA thanks that should work, I shoot my recurve without sights and have a compound that I shoot the same way.
One more question will any of the clubs allow me to shoot at 80lb?

Bow weight is not an issue with either NFAS or EFAA/IFAA, but speed is. Both have a speed limit of 300 feet per second.
