If you want a a decent knife for digging out arrows then get a ex military bayonet. Good steel, strong blade and cheap, I got a sig bayonet for £12 of ebay and you can bury it into wood and stand on it, its that strong and sturdy.

Best thing I have ever used for getting arrows out of wood is a marlin spike, obtained at any chandlers. Cheap and just made for it, comes with a chisel tip [not all that good] or a sharp spike [brilliant] Might not be as macho as a 14" Bowie but does the job.
Saying that, a long screwdriver with the tip filed down is good as well!

Well not sure about the knife but way backat the beginning of the year i went out to a feild range somewhere in the back of beyond Canterbury with my sisters boyfriend, he was using his crossbow so lent me a mongolian bow and his quiver which had his sword scabbard attached a 3' scimitar + a smaller "eating" knife reckon that would definetely get some attention on the shooting line
hmm ooer i was impersonating Robin Hood and i didn`t know it
