LOL but surely you know how woefully under-dressed I always am, Paul!

The score cards were in my trouser pocket, my trousers were soaked...therefore the cards dissolved!

Bowman, useful tip when shooting field in the rain, take the lens out! It gives you a much clearer sight picture. I had to clear the rain from my peep a few times though!

I managed the slope near the lion with a compound in each hand while a colleague threw a rope for his son! That was the hairiest moment of the shoot for me! Wish someone got a photo!

Thanks for that but if i take the lens out i lose my dot to aim with. Have been looking for a scope with a glow pin and no lens. I did have one but it had no bubble on it.
None of the UK web shops have anything like what i want. Any suggestion's?

PM Marcus about Titan scopes, or review them at Urban Archery or on AF. Hoya lens does the trick.

We had a good time until the burger van hijacked us made us eat hot food drink hot tea rummage in Perris shop and worship the marvelous device that is the heater in Daves car. Never mind roll on New years eve humm!! will have to apply for special planning permission for that one if you know what I mean

Some of the guys had a good few hours drying out there gear and getting it all back just so, I think they now realise why I dont use my target gear for field whatever the conditions.
My personal approch to field shoots is bare bow, string, arrow, tab and something to carry your arrows in and pitting my wit against a plastic animal! (why do they get the better of me).

Question: why when at work do we have to wear HiVis gear to stop being hurt in a controlled enviroment but at weekends can we walk about the woods with 199 other people not nesessarly knowing where we are going all carrying and shooting leathal weapons in camo gear!. When will the health and safety monster spoil our fun, not too soon I hope.
