Well, that was a great laugh. No photos I'm afraid as I didn't want to drag my bulky camera around the course.
Four targets in I found that the Beiter nocking point on the string I was using was cracked. Unfortunately the one on my main string had broken the day before and the replacements had only just arrived in the post on Saturday morning just before I left for Malvern. I spent the rest of the course wondering whether it was going to come apart, but luckily it didn't.
One target proved my nemesis - a 2D mountain lion at an angle. Took 3 for 8 first time and missed the boss with one arrow, which couldn't be found. Second time round (it was a 2x20 shoot) I missed again in almost the same spot, but this time I clipped the wooden frame. No idea where that arrow went, but we did find the first one.
Only blanked one target, but only took one 24. Shot 25 targets with one arrow, 11 with 2 and 4 with 3 (including the blank). Room for improvement, but I still had a great time.
Can't wait for the next shoot at Paget de Vasey.
