All British & Open Field Archery Championships

A reminder that the closing date for entries for the All British 2007 is 14th May 2007 and that no late entries will be accepted.

Entry forms are available for download from the usual place; it is also published in the current edition of Archery UK. Please note that my postcode is CF41, not CF1. Fortunately the latter has not existed for at least 8 years, so as far as I can tell all entries are getting through to me OK.

We have a contingent coming over from Eire this year, to shoot in the Open competition, and we are looking forward to welcoming them (you?) to Pentref.

The entry list will be made available to the Home Nations team captains by 1st May - please let me know if you need them sooner than that.

Did I ever get around to acknowledging your entry? 'Cos if not... I've received your entry.

Oh, and apparently I got the closing date wrong at the start of this thread. It's not the 14th, it's the 12th. Those hoping for a place on their Home Nations team need to get their entries in pronto, because team selectors have already had the first instalment of the entry list.

Yes and no.

The AB itself is GNAS only; however the Open category can be entered by any archer who can show me some sort of proof of membership of a FITA-affiliated governing body. Proof of membership is something like a membership number of a qualifying organisation. As long as entrants can provide this, and as long as entries are received by the closing date (that's important BTW) then as far as I'm concerned there's no problem. One thing - I'm shooting at Raven this coming weekend. I'll accept entries then if accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. I'll also accept emailed entries during this week; however I also need completed entry forms and the entry fee to be put in the post at the same time.

I've had a few entries from non-GNAS people, so I'm hoping we're going to have a healthy Open competition this year.
