New Bow - Some Questions

My new (2nd hand) bow arrived yesterday. A Winact riser with Win & Win wood-cored limbs at 30lb. I was delighted to find that the previous owner had never used the bow at all!

I managed to decipher the Korean English and set the weight adjustment to give the maximum and then adjust the tiller, but I'm not sure about limb alignment. With a long rod on I'm aligning the string with the two limb pocket bolts and the long rod and then checking to see that the string runs along the centre of both limbs. Is that it? My previous bow is one-piece...

With the bow, I got 12 Easton Lightspeeed arrows with 3D screw in points. They are way too long. I've never had carbon arrows before and at the moment I'm in two minds, whether to get them shortened, or to just put them on Ebay. Am I right in thinking they are not a good idea for indoor shoooting (even after getting them shortened and proper points). Hopefully by next spring I will be back up to 36 or 38lb and these arrows will not be stiff enough.

That'll do for now. I'm sure I'll have more questions later...
