| RE: Bow International Magazine I buy the odd copy when I go into archery shops, and it's a decent publication. It has a good balance of stuff on recurve, compound and traditional (unlike the Glade, which is almost entirely traditional these days). I'd say it's the best archery magazine available.
However, it's in turmoil. Richard White has gone from the editor's chair, and it doesn't sound like a friendly parting of the ways. The new editor is Peter Jones, public relations officer of the GNAS. I personally don't like all the knocking of the GNAS, but I do think there's a need for independent publications to keep an independent attitude towards governing bodies. Will the GNAS' PRO be independently minded? |
