Archery UK - you aobviously don't remember the early issues (I have them permanently by my bed, and I can recite them word for word!). The "cover price" was apparently necessary to have the thing registered as a magazine for various tax and postage purposes. No one is ever charged that, nor does it reflect the actual cost to each member.
And, in my opinion, it shouldn't be as comprehensive as Glade and Bow, simply because it is just the "newsletter" and main communication medium of the GNAS - a function it carries out admirably.
PS - did anyone else spot three copies of AUK on ebay the other week, ATTRACTING BIDS!
