The Easton Guide recommends rubbing Hard Soap (A Bar of Soap Basically) on your arrows, I am currently using a lovely smelling bar of lavender soap

The shoe shine pads are silicone, this stuff is very slippery, if you are a compound shooter you will be more likely to suffer from sticking arrows but there is a good chance you will have some silicone spray for your bow, spray a small amount on the ends of your arrows (or on a cloth then wipe your arrows), not too much as it will migrate and make the shafts slippery and pulling them will be impossible.
