| I haven't found the need so far. I just stick 'em in the freezer. Most modern bottles have enough space in them anyways, and will expand a little too. never had one bust yet (famous last words!!)
Another couple of tips:
Wet a cloth with cool water and wear it round your neck / on your head (or wet a hat)
Get a small spray bottle (superdrugs do them I think), and fill with water, then just regularly spray your face/neck with water.
