You'll find that micropore surgical tape is much more effective as a semi permanent nocking point.I've been using it for years now, you can manipulate it up and down the string to find the optimum position and then put on a proper floss and supergluejob for permanence.
I've never heard of floss and glue nocking points melting in the heat.
Unglued micropore will last a good few shoots I've found.
